What makes a good multiplication game?

Games help most when they are built around how memory works, not just around points. We designed Wembuno around a few simple rules:

• Instant, kind feedback. A mistake shows the correct fact and a skip-counting strip, and the fact comes back a few questions later.
• Variety. Questions switch between multiple choice, typing, true or false and missing numbers such as 7 × ? = 56.
• Adaptive repetition. Facts that are slow or often missed appear more often; mastered facts are reviewed after longer gaps.
• Rewards for effort and progress. Stars, chests and achievements are earned by playing, never bought.
• Short rounds. Most rounds take one to three minutes, so it is easy to stop at a good moment.

Frequently asked questions

Are these multiplication games really free?

Yes. Every mode, character and reward is free. There are no in-game purchases, no paid upgrades and no loot boxes.

Do the games work on tablets and phones?

Yes. Wembuno is designed for touch screens first, with big buttons and a number keypad, and it also works with a keyboard and mouse on computers.

Can I install Wembuno like an app?

Yes. In most browsers you can choose “Add to Home Screen” or “Install app”. It then opens full screen and keeps working with a poor connection once it has loaded.

Does my child need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts and no sign-up. Progress is saved in the browser on the device your child uses.
